“Don’t Ever Return to the United States”
Thanks America. Some of us were dense enough to believe that the United States actually wanted us to come to the U.S.
And while that was only about 30% who haven’t got your message loud and clear, it appears that now that your border agents are clearing up that issue unequivocally, we’ll take your advice.
So far, Canadians are staying away in droves, having spent about 9 billion more of their tourist dollars in Canada this year. But this coming winter we’re going to do much, much better.
We plan on not spending 20 billion in the U.S. this winter on travel to Florida, Texas, California, Arizona and New York most notably. We’re booking a record number of vacations in places like Mexico, Spain, Cuba, the Bahamas, Jamaica, etc., and we’re selling our winter snowbird accommodations in Florida, Arizona, California and Texas in record numbers, you’ll be glad to know.
Still, we have a lot more work to do. There are, as stated, about 30% of Canadians who in spite of the threats, arrogance and hate speech from and in America, are still going.
I’ll bet we can get them to stop as well. Some of them might just have to be assaulted in the U.S. to make that point clear, but I’m confident that you can do it America!
There’s absolutely no doubt you have it in you.
As for me, personally? I made my last trip to the U.S. in September, 2024, when I myself was ‘warned’ that I was not welcome in the United States. A friendly bunch of MAGA hatted rednecks made that very clear when I stopped at a coffee shop in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
So, I’ve gone one better. Yes America, you’ve succeeded. Instead of an American auto, I bought one made in Japan. I’ve taken two vacations, one to Spain and one to Cuba, instead of America, and I’ve bought thousands of dollars of electronics, again from Japan in the last six months.
You’re doing great America. We’re getting the message, loud and clear. Thanks for your clarity and your hate-filled vehemence.
