A New Political Process

What America needs is a new political process, and a completely new way of representation.

Instead of parties, candidates would simply declare what their three political objectives are.

Lobbyists would be illegal, banned from politics, as would PACS and political contributions.

Funding for Candidates would be paid for by the government itself, with each candidate provided with exactly the same amount of funds to use in his campaign.

This is an example of how it should work.

Process

No political parties would exist.

Candidates would ‘declare’ their three key political goals and objectives.

If the candidate represented an ‘interest’ group, he would have to declare that as well, and wear a T-shirt declaring which interest he or she actually belonged to.

This would be mandatory.

Then each candidate would have to undergo scrutiny by a panel of ‘inquisitors’, and a polygraph would then need to be taken in order to convince voters that his declared ‘interest’ was in fact truthful.

Each polygraph would be provided an actual score for ‘truthfulness’.

Then, the public knowing full well what the candidate was representing, having listed his three prioritized goals, and to whom he was ‘beholding’, would be able, — upon verification of the declared facts and polygraph results, be able to vote for their one candidate of choice.

A simple, first past the poll majority would be the winner in each jurisdiction and they would be the representative for each voting jurisdiction, represented by the same exact population per jurisdiction.

There would be no electoral college, no gerrymandering, no manipulation, no PACS and no massive funding advantages for the rich or powerful.

Americans would then have a representative government of the people, defined by interests and a declaration of facts, — not lies, misrepresentation, disinformation, misinformation, obfuscation and the interests being representative of those behind the scenes willing to pay for power and control.

Because the existing system?

That’s the opposite of this.

Manipulation and control is all that kleptocrats, plutocrats and autocrats are interested in. Once they have it, the fleecing of America is completely in the hands of a very few men and women.
