Freedom or Servitude?
Canada needs a Leader. It needs someone who cares more about this country, than he does his ambition. My hope is that there is someone out there in the political world with the talent, intelligence and charisma to both get elected, and to then do what is necessary to put Canada on a course for the future that sees an independent, strong and forward looking country.
Canada has the talent, and the resources. What it now needs is the political will, to do the right thing.
You ask, what is the right thing? Of course how you answer that question is framed by where you sit on the political spectrum, but for the majority of Canadians, that is somewhere very close to the middle, whether slightly Conservative or slightly Liberal.
The problem is that those who wait in the wings, gnawing on the political benches of Parliament are decidedly not centrists.
PP is a Maganian who will sell out this country to Capitalists as part of his never-ending quest for power and personal profits.
The Liberals best option, just resigned from the Cabinet.
The NDP are wandering the political wilderness in some parts of Canada, and will not form a national government in the near future, – no matter what.
While I come to detest the rhetoric of the Liberal Leader and his lack of attacking solutions to Canada’s needs, like sovereignty protection, a fairer tax code, immigration and infrastructure, – I find that voting for the Conservative’s Sméagol or the Gollum-like MAGA-Mini Me worshiper, is a non-starter. Any manchild who grovels to the extreme right and to the orange menace, like PP, does not only not deserve power, but should never be trusted with power.
“We sits in a quandary, we do, desperate for a capable and honest leader.” (Voice of choice provided).
Right now, all we have are an apologist on one hand, and a calculating dwarf on the other.
Dog help us.
