Recently, the extreme right kook aid klan, have espoused the idea that manifest destiny is possible for America.
For Americans, it’s the concept that America was ‘divinely ordained’ to expand across North America. It’s also a sociopath’s wet dream.
Divinely ordained, by whom? A fictitious superordinate being? Really?
What simple-minded medieval relic thought that one up?
If America wants to ‘conquer and prosper’, —- it’s in for a shock, because Canadians would never end fighting. We’d be burying Americans, not for months or years, — but for generations.
The first time that manifest destiny was unleashed south of the border, it led to slavery, obviously a very ‘American’ Christian belief, which then led directly to the Civil War, causing the deaths of approximately 700,000 American combatants alone, and injuring more than 1.5 million.
If America invaded Canada, — for every day that Americans occupied Canada, hundreds of Americans would die, every single day. And it wouldn’t end. Canadians would seek to destroy America’s will to continue, and I know that given time, that’s exactly what would occur.
But the question for Americans is this? Would you really go to war for the 1%? They don’t give a damn about Americans. Their sole interest in Americans is to feed them lies and then use the ignorant 99% to do the work and create the ingenuity that would keep the robber class in power.
They and their plutocratic friends are the reason why America is in the situation it’s currently in.
Do you think China, — the real existential threat to American interests, will sit idly by while you throw yourself into a war of attrition in Canada?
China would take Taiwan as soon as you crossed the Canadian border, and civil war in the U.S. would almost instantly follow.
Western secession is infinitely more probable than manifest stupidity.
Any invasion would lead to Civil War within America, at the same time that 41 million Canadians would do their level best to kill as many Americans as humanly possible.
What would be infinitely more intelligent would be for Americans to overthrow those that economically subjugate you, the 1%, the plutocrats, oligarchs and kleptocrats that are robbing Americans blind. Rather than go to war, simply overthrow the oligarchs, like your cowardly President and his pet Elon, and take back what is yours.
Trump’s thievery will rival his good friend Vladimir Putin’s ambition, who it is believed has stolen 200 billion dollars from Russian citizens.
A mere pittance for Trump and Musk. They intend on stealing Trillions.
No America, it’s time to stop the steal, the one by Musk, Bezos, Trump, Zuckerberg and the rest of those who have, and will continue to steal America blind.
They’ve already indebted Americans to the tune of 123% of GDP or 42 Trillion dollars, and they intend to steal at least another 8-10 trillion during Trump’s administration.
An invasion of Canada would be an epic debacle for America. Asymmetrical war would be generational. Remember, it only took 12 Saudi’s on 911 to create a historic disaster for America. What might 41 million people dedicated to the destruction of America manage to create inside a society that is already on the verge of civil war?
Is anyone actually stupid enough to die for Donald J. Trump?
