Trump seems to think that his actions are justified. The only justification Trump has is the lies he has created and then used to double down on damaging an ally. The EU and the UK should pay close attention, because this is America today.
The question is simple though. How do you get through to a sociopath? It we can’t, then we should look towards nuclear economic options.
Embargo the U.S., and find new clients for everything Canada exports.
Canada should use a nuclear economic response. If the U.S. refuses to rescind the 25% tariff against Canada, then Canada should shut off all electrical generation to the U.S. and shut off all oil and gas to the U.S.
That’s shut off, — not institute tariffs. Trump says he doesn’t need Canadian wood or Canadian oil or energy. Okay, let’s see if that’s true!
What the U.S. has done is illegal. America is a rogue state, and Canada should take every measure to leave America’s sphere of influence and end Canada’s agreements with the U.S.
America has declared ‘defacto war’ on Canada.
Canada should then move to nationalize all American Energy holdings in Canada and expel Americans.
We should then export the 4.1 million barrels of oil to China and seek agreements that create a permanent supply chain with China.
When the lights go out on the eastern seaboard, and gas in America goes up a $1 a gallon, then Americans might begin to wake up to Trump’s illegal moves.
Trump is an ignorant sociopath, deliberately attempting to destroy an ally, — or should that be, former ally.
If America wants to create an enemy on its borders, it’s going about it the right way.
Personally, I can’t believe how gutless Democrats and the American public have been. Not a word, no statements of how ignorant, divisive and damaging this is.
We, in Canada will not forget these actions, ever.
