Americans who believe in democracy and the rule of law need to speak up and act out. Ignoring Trump is emboldening a sociopath and providing through their silence and inaction the vehicle for Trump to appear in charge, when in fact he is so far out of his depth that the man is a danger to every single person in the free world.
This is no longer simply about a thief and convicted rapist in office, this is a man devoid of any and all human positive attributes. It is now time for Americans to step up and be counted in defence of democracy and freedom. If nothing transpires, shortly, trump will replace all military leadership with sycophants and incompetents beholding only to a pathological liar, convicted rapist, traitor, coward and thief.
Europe, Canada, and NATO will stand together, and irrespective of the cost, ensure that Ukraine is provided with the means to stop Putin and to push Russia out of Ukraine. Or they themselves will enter Ukraine in its defence. The necessary weapons and munitions will also be provided as needed.
The true western democracies will rejuvenate the military industrial complex within their countries, and make this weapons and munitions available to Ukraine.
We, once America’s friends and allies, do not understand how the United States could become a traitor to NATO, Canada, the EU, and every other democracy on earth. And why? What benefit is there to enabling a sociopath and dictator win in Ukraine?
Today was a great example of Trump’s arrogance and bullying. Angered by Zelensky pointing to the inconsistencies in his lies, Trump virtually attacked Zelensky. The world saw what transpired, we don’t need American spin to pretend that extortion is okay and that making demands of an ally which will not enable them to become members of NATO by so doing is patently ignorant and stupid on the part of America.
Would Americans give up their country to Xi Xinping, and enable them to place their forces on the border with the U.S.? Of course not.
America is no ally, no friend and no superpower. It sucks up to a demagogue in the form of Putin, yet America calls Putin its friend.
We, those of us outside the U.S., cannot afford to trust a man so cowardly that he would not serve his own country in its time of need, yet expects others to trust him, when everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie.
It’s now time for Americans to illustrate their contempt, anger and willingness to fight for democratic institutions, the rule of law and international ethics from the U.S government, or to strike and ensure that no commerce, no trade, no profit occur, which at present maintains both the 1% who control trump and to whom he is loyal.
The time is short and action must follow indignation. A general national strike and shutdown of America is needed, that forces the government to remove trump from office. Otherwise, civil war will follow in the United States.
Of that I am convinced.
