Support NATO, and those who support us. All weapons procurement for Canada should be either from NATO countries or EU member countries, with the exception of submarines, which should include submissions both from Korea and Japan.
America is attacking Canadian interests and is at this moment an enemy of NATO, having voted with Russia. It’s time for a quantum shift in Canadian Defence Policy.
One that will give Canada complete military autonomy, and move us out of America’s sphere of influence.
Either build in Canada, or buy from European Manufacturers.
Canada will build 16-20 AIP System Submarines, 88 new fighters, new armour, new IFV’s, artillery, attack helicopters, 16 new destroyers and military drones.
They should all come from Europe or European members of NATO. Build Canada’s military industrial complex and double the size of Canada’s military.
In addition, Canada needs to instate conscription immediately.
Finally, create a hard border with our southern enemy, similar to the one being built in the north.
Passports and visas that have a defined stay should be required. For EU member countries, no visas would be necessary, and employment for EU members should be the same as for Canadians.
America has burned a bridge, and none of us are ever going to rebuild it.
