Canada should dump the F-35. What’s the point of buying an aircraft that your enemy can control? And yes, America is our enemy. All purchases of American weapons systems and military equipment should be cancelled, and not just until the tariffs come off.
It’s time for Canada to make a statement in relation to its procurement programs going forward. No more American systems of any kind. The P8-Poseidon should be cancelled as well and either the Airbus or Kawasaki variants purchased.
Why are we buying in U.S. dollars anyway. It makes a great deal more sense to buy from the E.U., U.K., Japan or Korea. They are our allies, unlike America, who have turned their backs on Canada and Ukraine.
We owe no loyalty to a country that attempts to extort us.
It should be the end of the road for us with America.
So Bill Blair, unless you’re a sleeper agent for the Americans, cancel the damn orders, now.
