Elon Musk’s “hope” is that America and Europe have a ‘close relationship’. One with zero tariffs.

After extortion, comes, “Hope”?
Excellent, you vacuous asshole.
First, you attempt to extort a continent through tariffs, imposed as a threat in order to bring about acquiescence, and then you suggest,
“Look, let’s be friends. We were just kidding you guys. We really want you to drop all your counter-tariffs, bend the knee, kiss the ring, — all is forgiven.
Oh, and by the way. Send all your manufacturing companies back to America, or else we’ll double the tariffs, okay?”
Sounds fair, right America?
In what fucking world, you sociopaths?
Instead, let’s do this.
We in Europe, along with the U.K. ,Canada, Japan, Korea and China, yes, China, will seek new free trade agreements designed to enable our countries to all grow and succeed.
And, oh, I forgot to suggest, — we don’t want you in the agreement and we don’t care to trade with you anymore.
That sounds like an agreement the rest of us can live with.
America, tears up agreements, then threatens its former partners, then attempts to extort them to its benefit, and then threatens to increase the threat!
Are you fucking delusional America?
How about America gets out of Europe, closes all its bases, and we create our own European Army to stand against the real threat, Russia and America.
America is no friend to any of its former partners and allies.
America is no ally, as it supports an aggressive Russia.
America is no partner, as it cannot be trusted, now or ever again.
America will be successful in being alone.
America seeks protectionism at the expense of its friends, neighbours and former allies.
America seeks isolation.
Okay America, you win.
We will isolate you.
There are 7.7 Billion other people on this planet to do business with.
They may not have your arrogance, or your lack of humility, or your willingness to threaten us.
They may not be of your ideology or religion, but for us, trust is about relationships, not threats, not coercion, not abuse.
So the answer to Mr. Musk’s ‘hope’ is this:
No.
We won’t have a close relationship.
You lie, cheat, steal and attempt to extort.
You claim to be ‘believers’.
In what?
Theft, hate, arrogance?
Sorry, we don’t play zero sum games.
That’s America, and that’s bullshit.
Keep your trade, and when your people come to the realization that the policies you’ve enacted have diminished their wealth, their comfort, their ability to travel, to be respected and most importantly, to be trusted, — then, and only then, will America be capable of being an ally, friend or partner.
We don’t trust you.
We don’t like you.
And we don’t care if you don’t trade with us.
We’ll be fine.
Without America and its arrogance, ignorance and hate.
That’s America.
That’s what YOU stand for now.
