“Put The Money in the Bag, Mr. Starmer, and Walk Away.”
Starmer’s decision to sign the so-called trade agreement with the U.S. is a giant mistake. Once a nation buckles to extortion they have already lost the battle.
Accepting either tariffs or taxes in order to sell British products in the United States, in the eyes of Trump, is simply weakness.
What it guarantees is a ‘servant’ relationship, from now on.
Trump called this a ‘major trade deal’. It isn’t that.
It’s simply extortion, and Britain is now like the village shop owner who pays Guido every week in a white envelope.
British vehicles are now capped at 100,000 cars, and above that a 27.5 % import tax applies.
The U.K. is not even increasing the tariff it charges on American vehicles coming to the U.K., which remains at 10%.
The U.S. needs Rolls Royce engines and aircraft parts so of course they won’t have tariffs on them.
And there hasn’t been any mention of tariffs on the sale of pharmaceuticals to the U.S., the U.K.’s second biggest export behind cars.
The Brits should place a 10% tariff on all digital services from the U.S., which is now at 2%.
The tariffs on British steel and aluminum have been dropped, but they are almost irrelevant as the U.K. only sells 700 million pounds of both to the U.S.
Once again, America has extorted another former ally, and had the nerve to call it a trade deal.
The E.U. and Canada need to pay close attention, while in the process of rapidly disentangling its export relationship with the U.S.
Canada must export all of its products to other nations and break any dependencies it has with America.
America isn’t a trade partner.
America is a extortionist kleptocracy, paying the 1% and the billionaire oligarchs that are Trumps henchmen.
I’ll say it again.
America is no friend.
America is no ally.
America is nothing more than a criminal empire ruled by the Chief Extortionist and his cadre of billionaires.
Get out Canada, now.
