America: Where Looking-Back with Retribution Has Become More Important Than Looking-Forward and Planning

America has an obsession with blame.

It would be fine if it were accountability, but it isn’t.

Rather than elect people based on their record, Americans generally do the opposite.

Everyone on this planet, knew that Trump was a pathological liar, rapist, racist, misogynist, and coward. Everyone.

Yet, Americans chose a man without character, without honour, without loyalty or trust.

They elected a man who they knew was a narcissist, hateful and vengeful, who would spend an inordinate amount of his time as President, in retribution of those who simply had the temerity to point out his many and obvious, odious personality flaws.

And now that the election is over, and America is living the reality of the ‘reality TV’ President, what is America doing?

True to form, it’s engaging in assessing blame, rather than dealing with the reality of acute failure in the office of the President.

Americans are obsessed with the 15 second sound bite.

They do not consider the ‘facts’, because had they, a man devoid of all decent character would never have been on the ticket, never mind elected.

Accountability, is never at issue. Blame is, — which to my mind is both irrational and illogical.

Will America ever recover from that fact that lies now mean nothing to America?

Apparently not.

Had America cared about the facts, — they wouldn’t have elected a ‘film-flam artist’ as President, twice.

I imagine that Americans will spend the next three years of Trump’s Presidency, reliving Biden’s failures, without ever addressing the mammoth elephant in the room, Trump’s illegitimate and unconscionable choices and Presidential failings.

Obvious to the rest of the world, and its anger towards Trump, Americans defend him, as though he were the messiah returned to the promised land.

Personally, it makes me gag.

I was raised to clearly see virtue, honour, intelligence, intellect and common-sense, based on the assessment of data, facts, analysis, and cogent decisions that verify and validate my choices.

Americans, apparently, simply watched Fox or X to gather their ‘intelligence’.

Were this not true, America would be in a different place today. A different world.

Alas, thanks to America’s primary educational system, people don’t have the ability to think for themselves. They require Group Think and live in echo chambers that validate ‘beliefs’ not facts. Lies, not truth.

It is hard to see any way that America will once again become a force for good in this world. It is run by a sociopath (clinically valid) and a kleptocracy of billionaires, whose only plan is to add to their personal wealth on the backs of the poor.

My sovereign nation will do everything in its power to escape the gravity that America poses and to build new relationships based on truth, honourable conduct, facts and their assessments, in order to reach conclusions that offer solutions to protracted problems, particularly those created by the rampant arrogance and unpredictability of America.

America is on a crash course with destiny, fomented by ignorance and arrogance.

So be it.

We simply don’t wish to be in its ‘splatter zone’ when it hits bottom.
