“We’re bringing back religion in our country,” Trump contended at a Rose Garden event on the National Day of Prayer in May.
Actually, what Trump is bringing back is pure hypocrisy in America.
Christianity in the form of Trump’s belief, would simply be self-interest, greed, and loathing of others, combined with the abuse of others to enrich himself or satisfy his perversions.
And, were his statement true, Trump would be the first person to be expunged from any church, were there actually an omniscient, omnipotent being looking after humanity.
It’s quite an incredible statement from a man who is a convicted rapist, pathological liar, kleptocrat, racist and convicted felon. Yessiree… faith and felony, what a combination.
America should be so effing proud.
Christianity in all its unholy glory.
Your leader is a predator who sexually assaults women, and has been convicted of criminal felony. He’s such a pious, Dog-fearing man, right?
What the fuck is wrong with America, and what does it say about a nation that supports an extortionist, thief, pervert, racist, xenophobic demagogue and fascist?
Three and a half more years of the most ignorant, arrogant, mean-spirited hypocrite to ever hold office and America’s former supposed-values won’t even be a memory.
And this somehow speaks to America, and what American believes is of value?
Really?
To the rest of the world, Trump is simply an evil and dangerous autocrat.
His actions, beliefs and statements speak volumes about America’s MAGA core and how their Evangelical faith’ will support anything that is unchristian, — as long as it serves their purposes.
And what are America’s Evangelical purposes?
Power, profit and xenophobic zealotry. Hate for those that are not Evangelicals or those with the ability to think rationally and intelligently.
That, combined with fear and loathing for those more educated, intelligent and cerebral.
In fact, ‘fear and loatning’ should be the name of the Evangelical Christian Faith, as it’s the focus of the ‘faithful’.
Evangelicals don’t give a damn if they lie, cheat, steal, extort or threaten others, just so long as trump and his band of thieves support their goals, aims and ‘beliefs’.
Yessir, just show up at the temple of hypocrisy on Sunday and all will be forgiven.
What tripe.
Evangelicals have proven themselves to be anti-science, and they are certainly anti-higher education and academia, — yet they all take pharmaceuticals and go to doctors when ill or requiring surgery or treatment.
And a man devoid of humanity, empathy or intelligence is their messiah?
They even have the temerity to attack academics who actually are those people whose help they then seek. All in the name of two thousand years of stupidity, — supporting men who created religion in order to control others through guilt and fear.
Impressive, but only in its ability to control those without enough intelligence to understand they are the flock that is being fleeced.
And the rich shall inherit the earth. Hallelujah.
And now, it’s about filling the pockets of kleptocrats and thieves like trump and his ilk in support of their ‘spreading the lunacy’ and eradicating those who they blame for their ignorance and inability to prosper.
Even the Supreme Court in the Disunited States of America supports xenophobia, hate and fear of the ‘others’. Others from which, they all came.
Good dog, where is the intelligence, the intellect, the ability to differentiate fact from fantasy, fact from fiction, truth from lies?
And now the ‘faithful’ have jumped on trump’s bandwagon of ‘alternative facts’, which has to be the most ignorant statement of stupidity ever made.
Facts, by their very definition have no ‘alternatives’, — at least until science, which requires continuous questioning and analysis of those facts proves otherwise by scientific study and rigorous analysis.
Thank dog that Canada isn’t America. It is a secular society where those who wish, can believe in science, facts, data, analysis, the creation of hypotheses, validation and verification of same. A place where intelligence, science and educated discourse is both respected and encouraged. A place where ‘all’ forms of belief, not just whose who are ‘Evangelical Christian zealots’ are the chosen.
In Canada, as a secular society, we truly believe in a separation of church and state. We don’t enshrine it into hatred of the ‘others’. In Canada it’s entirely normal based on one’s ‘need’ or comfort to ignore religion and support science, learning and academic pursuit.
We don’t suffer fools or wanton and willful stupidity.
Facts matter, truth matters. Belief is for those too weak or too unwilling to actually stand up and validate what it is they believe in or why they do. Religion harbours those without any ability to use scientific methodology to differentiate fact from fiction, and/or a willingness to use logic or take part in rational thought.
It supports ignorance, which is anathema to anyone with a functioning cerebral cortex.
And all the proof we need, those of outside America’s land of zealotry, — is to watch America continue to support a man who in any other nation would be a pariah and likely in prison.

I have great faith in dogs.
They aren’t inhuman.
Evil intent and a willful need to play zero-sum games for profit at the expense of all others, is only the purview of men willing to use religion as a crutch to hide that same evil intent.
As for America?
The opinion of the world should and will be more than obvious in the future.
We don’t trust or respect America.
And it’s highly likely that we never will.
