Hey Canada, Let’s Buy our Next Fighter From the Enemy!

The sheer absurdity of buying the F-35 from the United States, rather than buying the next fighter from Sweden, Korea, France, Turkey or the EU, who actually are our allies is incomprehensible.

Why don’t we buy our submarines from North Korea or Russia?

America is such a great friend to Canada, of course we should.

So why in hell then would Canada buy the F-35, irrespective of its capabilities. It’s the equivalent of buying state of the art ‘etherware’?

Here Canada, give us 29 billion dollars and we ‘promise’ we’ll let you fly it when we attack you?

This makes as much sense as electing Pierre Poilievre as the Prime Minister of Canada, a shill for American interest and the fossil fuel industry, and a man devoid of two connected synapses.

Reiterating the arguments about the positive or negative attributes of the options is irrelevant, when one of them is built by your enemy.

I can appreciate why some people who want to be American might think that it’s an awesome idea, but really? Why not just immigrate to the land of the free…Hesus, I almost said free.

Buy anything but the F-35 Prime Minister Carney. Buy the Rafale or the Boramae or the Karan from Turkey. At least you’ll actually have an aircraft to defend with when America attacks Canada.
