The time has come for the coalition of the willing to act in Ukraine. If this atrocity is allowed to continue it will bleed Ukraine dry.
America is no friend to Europe, it is simply a parasitic infection on the rest of the world. It’s time to tell Trump, in no uncertain terms, to get out of Europe. The EU should create a EU continental army and move troops of the willing coalition onto the front lines, telling both Putin and Trump to go to hell.
Putin will continue, even if it destroys the future of Russia’s citizens entirely. The coalition of the willing need to push Russia out of Ukraine and America out of Europe.
Today, there is no real difference between Trump and Putin, and Americans will wholly regret their unwillingness to stand up to tyranny. For the nations of the world that do stand up, it will then be time to simply embargo the United States.
Otherwise, Ukraine will be bled white, Putin emboldened and Trump will continue to attack his former allies, neighbours and former trade partners.
Simon Tisdale is absolutely right. Regardless of the difficulty, for democracy we have reached a defining moment.
Stand up, or forever live on your knees.
