There comes a time in relationships, either personal, in business or simply social in nature where one may have to ask the question, does this make any sense at all?
We’ve all likely been there, unless you are indeed an extremely lucky individual. It begins with a loss of acceptance of ‘belonging’ in a sense. You might not realize how completely dispassionate the other party is, until they simply stop calling, stop visiting, or in relation to politics and foreign policy, stop listening and begin to become unaligned with whatever your opinions, needs or expectations are.
Narcissists in particular, may not see this coming, as they have no sense of the needs or opinions of ‘others’, until the rift is actually a ‘rupture’. By the time that occurs, all the rationalization, all the patience, all the will to actually attempt to salvage a relationship, is over.
This is at point where most of the western nations, including the EU, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea have come to the ‘conclusion’ that the United States not only will not collaborate, it will neither cooperate or accommodate, with any other democracy, in which case, the former relationship is over.
But it’s worse than that, as America is threatening all of the world’s democracies, whether allies, members of trade organizations or simply once, on friendly terms.
As Mark Carney stated in Davos;
“Today I will talk about a rupture in the world order, the end of a pleasant fiction and the beginning of a harsh reality, where geopolitics, where the large, main power, geopolitics, is submitted to no limits, no constraints.”
America is no longer a friend, ally or partner of any kind. It thrashes around the globe assaulting whomever it wants, and doesn’t even have a rationale for doing so that it can articulate. It is like the proverbial six year old bully in the sand box, threatening the others who are there that they had best give up their toys, or without any provocation, he will then assault you.
The Final Unequivocally Stupid Action By America
The world has tolerated America’s arrogance, ignorance and hubris as long as it can. America’s actions have no rationality, no reason, no logic.
Thievery and hate are all the rest of the world sees coming from America. Sure, you can pretend that the issues are a myriad of other things, and you actually have, but the reality is much more obvious and it only takes a limited time to suffer the insufferable behaviour of the King of Leer, —until all nations, all people, all trade organizations and all corporations realize that there is no satisfying a zero-sum tyrant with the emotional quotient of a King Cobra.
Attacking Venezuela was bad enough, because it wasn’t done in order to help the people of Venezuela who already had suffered through several previous tyrants, but to simply steal Venezuela’s oil. Period. I
In fact, the King of Leer didn’t even pretend. He, and America, literally stole its tankers, sold their oil and put the money in the King’s own bank account in Qatar, that only he has control of. It would have been hard to comprehend, yet Americans and Congress, did absolutely nothing to stop him.
No general strike. No march on the White House and Congress to shut down the business of thievery, larceny and the actions of hate on clear display from this fascist group leading America by the nose.
Simply muted mumbling from Congress and ‘roll over rover’.
The Ultimate Act of Stupidity
So enamoured was the clown circus in Washington with its ability to steal without repercussions, that it now has upped the anti, and wants to steal the entire resources of another country, and if that goes well, the next.
The current target and the country’s ideology is an easy target, —as is its religion, because Evangelicals hate virtually anyone who isn’t enraptured with their beliefs, – as asinine and totally hypocritical as they are.
So now, it’s time for, “the big shoe” as Ed Sullivan would have called it, all those years ago. Only this time Topo Gigio has a gun to his head because he didn’t say, “I love You Eddie”.
The damage that this upcoming event will cause, is irretrievable. Not just to Iran, not just to the Gulf States, but to the whole international community and, what was once, the international order.
Now it is simply international disorder, bordering on international revolution.
America has alienated everyone, except Russia, which it appears is being assisted by the United States. America, by it willfully getting in the way of Ukraine winning the war, and denigrating a nation fighting for its survival, has even been ‘cut off’ by the U.S. because it wouldn’t simply surrender to America and Russia.
I can only assume Putin has pictures, full-length X-rated movies of the King of Lear and his ‘squeeze’ doing the nasty with both Epstein and Putin.
Whatever Vlad has on the King of Illegitimacy, it must be a ‘doozer’ because the King of Leer is afraid of Russia.
The Fool’s Errand
America may well ‘kick’ Iran, and succeed in extricating itself from a debacle of its own creation, but that’s not likely. What it will have done, is put the final nail in the coffin of American influence around the world, as no nation, no government, (not even the genocidal mass murder BiBi) actually trusts the U.S..
Sucking up to the enemy of your enemy, while alienating every neighbouring Muslim nation by genocidally murdering tens of thousands of them is likely not a long-term plan for sustainability, never mind survivability.
But can you imagine the level of retribution that might be exacted in the United States itself for these actions?
And allies can quickly become the enemy.
The Gulf States, should they lose their ability to actually pump and deliver oil, will rapidly become opposed to America. Nations like Qatar and the UAE have spent trillions on creating an environment where the .01% of the richest people on this blue dot spent their vacations and bought into investments and properties, believing it was ‘safe’ to do so.
America’s actions guarantee that they can no longer trust their futures to the enemy of their enemy, who puts everything they have worked to create, at risk. Iran, enraged by the Gulf Nation’s affinity with the Great Satan, (which at this point is hard to argue against), and which is only 30 miles away from your front door, means that Monaco, Europe, Canada and Australia, look a whole lot safer.
What Will War Provide the Average American?
If you can’t answer that question, I’m not surprised. The rest of the world has no idea how this is going to improve the lives of Americans, because it sure as hell isn’t going to improve the lives of the average Iranian that America said it was ‘on the way to help’.
Dropping bombs and firing missiles at Iranians, who were already repressed, and now are losing their ability to sustain themselves with housing, food, medical care, etc., etc., isn’t ’winning hearts and minds’. It’s creating ‘hate for America and Americans’.
So, what is likely to come of this?
Trump will add a zero or two to his wealth, a few hundred or thousand American families will bury their children. The local Veteran’s Club will bring out the honour guard and puff up their chests at how honourable it is that those kids died and then the families will grieve for the rest of their lives.
And another unending infinite war of attrition will become America’s legacy, this time leaving the Arab world hating America for the damage it has done.
America’s forever wars, now economic in nature primarily are designed to enrich those whose kids will never put on a uniform and who privately smile at the rubes whose kids are risking everything, believing in a democracy that is dead on arrival.
And of course, this is not to mention the recession, and maybe depression to come, where the .01% will further enrich themselves through AI, while Americans look for service jobs in the food industry, — until robots make those jobs disappear.
Don’t you just love Capitalism America?
You won’t when this is over.
Not only is America’s soft power literally gone, but its hard power will be heavily impacted by its current actions. Half of America doesn’t just disagree with the other half. They have no intention of sending their kids to be killed in a war of economic acquisition for the rich, especially a coward who himself refused to serve his country in any capacity and whose kids are also utter cowards.
Your national debt puts America’s future in severe doubt, as by the time the Thief in Chief leaves, Americans will be in a recession at best, with no allies and friends, with the greenback no longer the International Reserve Currency and America trying to pay down a likely 52 trillion dollar debt, without the ability to sell or buy what it needs to do so.
No?
I wouldn’t bet on it. History has a way of illustrating stupidity and hubris in spades.
As for the rest of us?
We simply want America to ‘fuck off and go away’, seriously.
We don’t want to trade with you, be allied with you, or to even call you an acquaintance.
America, and Americans, by virtue of their willingness to ‘go along to get along’, are now the enemy of the world’s democracies.
Just go away. That will be the greatest legacy that America can provide the world with.
