The world’s democratic nations are at a point with the United States where it is now essential to ostracize America. America’s inability to demonstrate any of the attributes of a democracy, has reached the point where maintaining a relationship, of any kind, with the US, is a complete liability.
And the ramifications of this ‘rupture’ in every sense, with the United States has had and will continue to have massive implications for the neighbours of the U.S., — notably Canada.
America is as much a corrupt criminal kleptocratic hegemony run by Christian Evangelical fundamentalists, as its polar opposite; the Muslim zealots of the Muslim Fundamentalist regime in Iran. It is truly almost impossible to differentiate or see a difference anymore.
Both nations now oppress their own people, deport the ‘others’, kill those who disagree with them and are interested only in conquest for economic reasons that are purely kleptocratic and plutocratic in nature.
America’s democratic institutions no longer exist, except in name only.
Both seem possessed by hate, retribution and a will to destroy the other, while feigning rationality.
America’s democratic institutions have all been either co-opted or destroyed, such that democracy is no longer even visible, or likely viable.
Americans seem either unwilling or capable of finding a rational solution to what is the regime destroying its democracy.
As a Canadian, the irrationality of America and its loss as a secular state, means that for us, any real long-term relationship is now anathema. America has become a danger to democracy throughout the world.
It careens from disaster to disaster, attacking sovereign nations and willfully undermining foreign democracies.
It’s time to call America what it is…
The enemy.
If America ever attacks Canada, it will face a multi-generational war that we will take to every American assembly and house of worship.
We cannot trust America.
We no longer have virtually any affinity for America.
Simply a fact.
