Two Words. First Word. War. Second Word. Crimes.
Now, imagine that you’re the one responsible for them, because, indirectly, but with full knowledge and intent… America, you will be.
For those who control America’s military, those who direct its actions, those that decide, and for those who act to carry out those ‘illegal acts’ as stated by the Geneva Convention, the ICC and the Judge Advocate General of the United States Armed Forces, the ramifications of Trump’s completely ‘unhinged’ expletive ridden rant and tirade, printed below, should clearly illustrate that the American precedent’s elevator doesn’t go all the way to the top.
Is this Presidential? Is this rational, reasoned, intelligent or logical?
Of course not. It’s a six year old in total meltdown because mom won’t buy him a chocolate bar.
But the most damning indictment of Trump comes from those highly intelligent and educated experts who have spent a lifetime formulating policy and actions designed to maintain peace, stability and intelligent discourse with nations that pose direct threats to global peace and security for the world’s democracies.
And at this juncture, this strategic deconstruction by the United States, suggests that America is on the verge of losing its status as a superpower and all of it’s soft power as the once leader of the western democracies.
His actions and statements attest to the fact that Trump is at his apogee of stupidity, arrogance and complete ignorance.
He is also now, at his most dangerous.
“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP”
“We cannot pretend that what the President of the U.S. is saying is not real.” stated the former President, Andrzej Duda.
Therefore NATO, is essentially no longer either willing to or expecting to have the U.S. as a member or an ally. And if such is the case, then the U.S. needs to get out of all NATO, and all of its installations in NATO and in Europe at the earliest possible time.
Fareed Zakaria this morning stated, This could also mean an extraordinary cost to the United States… as much as 800 billion in lost weapons sales alone. You can round that out to well over a 1.5 trillion dollars when including Canada’s and Australia’s 750 billion procurement programs by 2035, and that doesn’t include Japan and Korea that are building their own military industrial might and self-sufficient complex in response.
Simply put, As Fareed stated; “This is the end of the strategic alliance, the military alliance, and the political alliance.”
I couldn’t agree more.
Trump is, as the title of this article states unequivocally, completely unhinged. The Europeans know it, NATO knows it. In fact, the entire world knows it, including China, India and Russia. Unfortunately, in America, it would appear less than half of Americans know it. Hubris and arrogance reign in America, so it will cost America dearly, and it won’t just be in the loss of influence and power.
Economically, the U.S. is digging a hole faster than a badger possessed, and Americans seem to think that the ‘gravy train’ will continue, even though the U.S. has not just alienated, but turned the other members of NATO effectively into the enemy.
And this isn’t rhetoric or hyperbole.
Almost the same number of EU citizens by percentage as in Canada, Australia, the U.K. and NZ, believe that America is now, effectively, their enemy. Recent polls suggest that between 62-70% of the population believe that to be true.
Richard Haas, goes further, stating, “We (the U.S.) are dismantling the organization that has provided peace and security… Europeans do not believe that the U.S. can be counted on to come to the aid of Europe, yet Europe is not ready. The real beneficiary of this war (against Iran) is Russia. We (America) have undermined a set of policies and an era, without putting anything else in place to replace it. If you’re not uneasy, if you’re not worried, you’re not paying attention.”
As for NATO not being ready. It will be — in five years, and by 2035, much stronger. At that point, NATO will have no need and no place for the United States, as the U.S. can no longer be trusted, not simply to defend, but not attack a NATO country.
Nations that have had to derail their economies in response, will have long memories. We, collectively won’t be coming back, whether economically, strategically or even in terms of visitations, vacations or, most importantly in relation to investing in the United States.
Total Domestic Dissolution
When you get to the point where Marjorie Taylor Greene, a staunch ally turned Trump critic, states, “Everyone in the Trump administration who claims to be a Christian needs to ‘beg forgiveness from God’ and intervene in the president’s “madness,” you know you’ve reached an new level of sheer lunacy in the White House.
She further stated to the Guardian, “I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit. I’m not defending Iran but let’s be honest about all of this. The strait is closed because the US and Israel started an unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades, that at any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon. You know who has nuclear weapons? Israel. They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it. Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing.”
From a former sycophant of Trump and this administration, this is as damning as burning bibles in the streets of an Evangelical hotbed in the rural south of the U.S.
Ali Vaez, possibly, according to Fareed, the penultimate source of Iranian intentions in the current situation, stated today that Iran’s IRGC is now stronger than before the war. Ulta-Hawks are now in control. The resistance within Iran has weakened as trump’s bombing of infrastructure and threats of imposing a life of hell on Iranians has transformed them into angry supplicants of the ultra-hawks.
He suggests that irrespective of the so-called belief by American intelligence and Israeli intelligence that “Iran cannot create a nuclear weapon”, a single ‘flash’ in the desert of Iran may prove that to be folly. Iran likely still has all the necessary ingredients to make less powerful, lower yield nuclear devices, like those the U.S. itself used on Japan in 1945. The only nation on earth to actually do so.
There will be no way to know, once a ‘flash’ occurs whether Iran has one, or a larger number, and then, “the game is up,” stated Vaez.
For then, Israel and the U.S. will have lost the ability to pressure and control Iran.
Secondly, Iran already has a weapon of mass destruction. Control of the Strait of Hormuz. The destruction wrought by Iran economically on America could be what destroys the fundamentalist Evangelical regime in Washington.
The U.S. administration is simply an unhinged, incompetent, and equally if not more so dangerous to world peace and security. America’s actions enable Russia to justify its actin in Ukraine, while China can state that ‘reunification’ has even more justified than America’s naked aggression in Venezuela, Iran, and soon, likely Cuba.
Remember…
It is an American, U.S., legitimately elected madman that can initiate the launch of 3,478 nuclear weapons possessed by America.
And that madman has all of the EQ and control of a baboon in heat.
So America, The Nuclear ‘Ball’ is in Your Court
You can either impeach Trump and have him face civil and criminal prosecution and then attempt to rebuild what is not just the erosion but the near-complete erasure of American influence, — or ignore it, and while watching the economy dissolve, await a flash in the Dasht-e-Kavir and know, unequivocally that Iran will no longer be manipulated or threatened by the United States or Israel.
Such is the Pandora’s Box that America and Israel have opened.
No one else is responsible. No one else is culpable,
