UK: The King Sent the Wrong Message

“Sucking up to Donald Trump never works for long. Narendra Modi is the latest to learn this lesson the hard way.”

The comment above, made by Simon Tisdall is, I believe, highly accurate.

The U.K. needs to get on board 100% with Europe and the west’s other economies in order to stave off the next round of American economic aggression against its former allies and partners.

The ship of acquiescence has more holes than Swiss Cheese. The United States is neither a protector or friend, and some of the latest comments from arrogant, ignorant boors like the Dog of War, Hegseth, clearly indicates that Europe with the U.K., Canada, Australia, NZ, Japan, and the ROK need to align into one balancing group of nations in order to stave off further attacks by the United States.

People wrote an article in “The Week” April 24, 2026, stating;

“Donald Trump’s war on Iran, had been ‘madness’ from the start, said Mahfouz Anami in The Daily Star. He apparently expected Iran to crumble after the first wave of U.S. and Israeli bombardment. When the regime kept fighting—attacking Americas Gulf allies and shutting down the Strait of Hormuz oil gateway—Trump went berserk. He first pledged to eradicated all of the country’s power plants and bridges, a probable (highly) war crime, then vowed to destroy Iran’s whole civilization, an utterly unacceptable threat that revolted the entire world. Yet all this bombing and genocidal posturing did was wreak havoc on global energy markets, making countries that had nothing to do with the conflict, ‘suffer immensely’. Because of Trump’s war, Bangladesh, will see s slowdown in GDP growth this year that will erase 600,000 jobs and prevent 1.2 million people from rising out of poverty. Worst of all, neither we nor any other people can feel safe with such an amoral narcissist as U.S. president. As long as Trump remains in power, we are all on the brink of a nuclear catastrophe that could lead to World War III.”

This is but one of dozens of such comments from nations that are suffering substantively due to one sociopathic, pathologically lying narcissist., Donald Trump.

Similar comments have originated from Australia’s (Geraldine Brooks), Mathieu von Ruhr), Germany, (Andrew Coyne), Canada, (Simon Tissdall) the U.K.. In fact there are dozens of such articles from across virtually every western democracy, eschewing the United States and stating blatantly that is time to cut all ties with America.

Hankyoreh of South Korea in an editorial this week, stated;

“Since Trump threatened to quit NATO merely because its members refused to join his offensive war, what’s to say he won’t abandon us, too? The foundation of the peace and prosperity we have enjoyed is being shaken.”

According to People, “In one fell swoop, Trump has both shattered America’s credibility as an ally and destroyed its reputation as a military superpower.”

A country with 1.5% of the GDP of America using intelligence and strategic thinking instead of hubris and ignorance is holding the world’s once most powerful nation, hostage.

And America’s arrogance, ignorance and sheer stupidity is almost guaranteeing that a recession will soon arrive.

But this time, the world’s nations have begun and are making significant headway in seeing that America’s institutions are no longer preeminent or control the financial future of once allied nations.

PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, even SWIFT are in the process of being dismantled in usage by western nations, as they no longer wish to support the United States or its hegemonic interests.

The dumping of U.S. federal treasuries will soon follow, and America’s bonds will become unwanted.

And without actually providing literally any one of hundreds of such previous quotes, two stand out.

“What a bitter irony. Trump came to power obsessed with the decline of America, yet he’s actually managed to accelerate that decline. He has tossed aside the alliances that sustained America’s power for decades and depleted American military might by squandering huge quantities of weapons on a doomed war in Iran. Mathieu von Ruhr in Der Spiegel.

And the last;

“When you hand the keys to the world’s most powerful military to an insecure, deeply ignorant, endlessly manipulable, pathological narcissist, Iran has called his bluff. Where once we feared that Trump’s America had become a predatory hegemon, now we wonder whether it is any sort of hegemon at all. Sure the U.S. military can bomb anything with great precision, and that’s impressive. But it can’t change the geographic reality that Iran, with its seemingly endless supply of low-cost drones, can close the Strait of Hormuz at will. Trump has both shattered America’s credibility as an ally and destroyed its reputation as a military superpower.

No one trusts it. America.

No one will work with it.

Worst of all? After this, fewer will even be afraid of it.”

The King of England does not speak for Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan, the ROK or even, the United Kingdom.

Brits, writ-large do not trust America either, and so it is the actions of Britain’s parliament, evermore aware that their future lies safely with Europe, and not with America, that will clearly indicate where the U.K. is headed.

Only a fool would trust America today.

I sure as hell don’t.
