Turnout will tell the tale. Seventy percent of Albertans do not want to leave, at a minimum, however like most political situations these days, getting out the vote is everything.

If those Albertans who want to see Alberta retained in Canada, do not vote, then the secessionist’s will have an apparently larger share of the vote, skewing the reality.
