Canada Isn’t Interested – Not Now – Not Ever
This will be a very short editorial, and it isn’t satire, unlike Trump’s assertions that Canadians want to join America. Nothing could be farther from the truth. In fact, the latest poll taken in Canada clearly illustrates the ignorance and stupidity of that assertion.
In a recent poll, 13% of Canadians stated they would be interested in joining the United States. And why? Most of those 13% are people who are involved in oil and gas extraction in Canada, or have direct economic ties for their livelihood with the U.S.
There are two points to be made here that are worth considering. First, — in relation to the Leger poll, — there was no breakdown of the demographic at all in terms of income or education. It is highly likely that the most uneducated and those of lowest income, approve. And the second point is simple. It’s based on America being a democracy, not a religious autocracy or kleptocracy, — which America will undoubtedly become.
Equally interesting however would be an even more valid poll to be taken, considering the present level of angst, distrust, hate and mistrust of the incoming administration in evidence within the United States.
How many Americans would be willing to leave the United States and become Canadian since Donald J. Trump became President-elect of the United States?
I’ll guarantee you Mr. Trump, – that if you had the guts to poll Americans legitimately and to guarantee that the results would be posted in the real independent and honest media, the results might well shock you.
So, Mr. Trump, please do conduct a poll asking that question, and please do have the results published on the front page of every independent news media outlet in the United States.
Of course, for a man who has never actually been honest with anyone in his life, that would probably be so damaging to your ego that it would result in you having to conduct some form of self-analysis, — heaven forbid, — something a sociopath like you Donald, would never do.
And, as for who in Canada is interested in joining the U.S.? It appears that mostly those who work in oil producing western provinces, — that being those who live in Alberta and Saskatchewan, comprise the majority of the 13%.
As for the rest of Canada?
We think it would be in your best interest to pursue the purchase of Greenland. Please do go see if Greenland or Panama are interested.
I’m sure you’ll be ‘a winner’ there. So much winning Donald. Yes, there’ll be so much winning. Keep us apprised of your progress, will you?
You’ve become quite the subject of derision Donald, all across this country, –but good luck with that.
