Trump’s plan to make Canada the 51st state has run into some serious issues, the least of which is that the average Canadian wants trump dead. I honestly think Americans assume that the average Canadian wants to be American.
Let me tell you. You’re delusional and now dangerously so.
Canadians, by and large, and I’m talking over 90%, want nothing more than to have America and Americans, to stay the hell away from this country.
I’ll tell you a little anecdote, which of course you will find funny, I imagine.
About four months ago, I bought a semi-automatic rifle and 1000 rounds of ammunition, ‘just in case’. I also ordered a rifle designed specifically for targets, at very long range. You know, when the animals show up, you might need to take them out as far away as possible.
It will reach out to about 1600 yards with amazing accuracy.
The purpose? Marksmanship.
The actual reason? Wild animals. Because the way this world is heading, especially with Trump at the helm is becoming evermore threatening and dangerous.
Understand, I haven’t purchased a large caliber rifle for thirty years, as I don’t hunt.
But, assuming someone decides to send animals to invade this country? I’ll take up hunting again.
Even funnier. I was talking to a friend I haven’t seen in years and we were discussing the state of delusion and general madness transpiring across the line, and he brought up the subject of self-defence.
Strange topic over a coffee at 2:00 pm on a sunny afternoon.
He explained how the previous month he had stockpiled his cabin with survival materials, water, canned foods, etc, and converted his cabin so that he can be ‘off the grid’ entirely. Solar panels, large storage batteries, transfer switches, a well, even a propane toilet. In total, a year’s worth of supplies.
He stated that he had purchased three new weapons, one for personal, close range protection and two new rifles, highly precise, one with a thermal night scope and ‘enough ammunition that no one is coming here if I don’t want them, for years.”
Understand something else. Neither of us have hunted for many years, but both of us have gone to the range and zeroed our rifles and scopes and become highly efficient with them, so that in the event that any animals happen to wander onto the national property meaning to attack or do us harm, well, they’re likely not going to get to do that.
Trust is now gone, completely. We don’t trust Muskrats or Mango Snakes.
Trump’s forays into the land of insanity and his inclination towards threats and violence have left many of us at a point where counter-terrorism is now a serious focus for us. We don’t take to threats kindly, and we won’t ever become Americans. Ever. Irrespective of what you think you have the power to do.
Resistance would last for generations, not weeks or even years. Generations.
America has done something we never truly thought was possible.
It has unified Canadians in a way no one but a true enemy could do.
America, is truly, our enemy now.
