Yesterday, Trump hammered a wedge between NATO members and itself. The rift was already widening, but it would seem that Trump is intent on creating a chasm. Being a man of virtually no character, and limited intelligence, his dangerous and narcissistic proposal to not allow Ukraine into NATO, does nothing but play into Putin’s hand. Only a kleptocrat would play into Putin’s plan by suggesting that America would not support Ukraine’s entry into NATO.
Maybe it’s time for NATO to simply say, America — go home.
America is acting decidedly ignorant and arrogant, playing off the EU and NATO in an effort to look like some sort of peacekeeper to Americans. To the rest of the democracies in the free world, he is looking like a traitor.
It is obvious to the rest of us in NATO, that in short order we will have to go it alone. Now is the time for solidarity and to fund rapid growth in the development of a EU Army, that can act unilaterally without America.
Unlike JFK’s 1961 inauguration address, which follows;
“Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge–and more.”
Trump, in only a manner that represents the antithesis of Kennedy and all he stood for, illustrated that America will abandon any ally, ignore any friend, appease any foe, and delay any assistance to Ukraine and NATO.
It is time to show America the door.
The EU should formalize a EuroArmy and place troops on the border of Ukraine flanking Russia. If Russia makes further territorial incursions into Ukraine, the NATO should move into Ukraine in support of a free Ukraine. It should also admit Ukraine unilaterally into NATO and the EU Army, now.
Canada should expand its military spending appreciably to 2.5% of GDP and double the size of its force in Lithuania. Canada should seek to distance itself from the U.S.. in every way possible, diplomatically, economically, militarily and societally.
America is on the decline. Trump’s desire for American isolationism, protectionism and its irrational tariff regime, should be celebrated, and met with the same level of counter tariffs from all western democracies. America is no friend of democracy. It is an autocracy with a criminal leader, whose days are numbered.
To top off this week’s arrogant, selfish and ignorant acts by America, Trump; in typical kleptocratic fashion, suggested that he might help Ukraine if America is given strategic minerals by Ukraine.
Meanwhile, he’s busy selling out Ukraine, by meeting with Putin, without Zelenskyy. The nerve of America is monumental. Zelenskyy should tell Hegseth and Trump to shove their sellout up their ass.
It’s inconceivable that Trump should speak on behalf of Ukraine. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have died fighting Russia’s aggression, yet America, like the piece of shit it is today, wants to give concessions and more territory to Russia?
Unconscionable. Trump should be deposed like any dictator in the past.
Sorry America, you really have a piece of shit for a Leader.
America is an international pariah.
