Today, I had a right-wing MAGAN suggest that Canada ‘requires’ America’s military protection. Really? Sorry America, but you’re delusional. America is the only threat to Canada geographically. In fact, Canada will thrive, without America.
Canada is rich in resources, and our resources are in demand globally. But Canada is not simply willing to supply resources. We will further develop Canada’s refinement technologies, industries and manufacturing, such that Canada will deliver finished goods to the world’s markets.
And while it will be more difficult due to the cost of shipping those resources, in time, it will become the new norm for this country. Canada today, has much more in common with democracies in Europe and the far east, than it has with the oligarchy, kleptocracy and interests of the plutocrats in America.
As for military protection, the level of military protection that Canada requires is dependent only on what Canadians decide is necessary. As a member of NATO, Canada will continue to respond to threats posed by Russian aggression. Canada will expand its military, simply because in a multipolar world, which is now a reality, America is no longer capable of policing the world. If conscription is necessary to do so, so be it. And Canada will willfully pay more for increased self-protection.
America poses the threat to Canada. Not China, not Russia, — America.
America has become a kleptocracy, and as such, will never be trusted by Canada.
The greatest change to Canadians is that instead of a democracy, America has willfully enable itself to become a kleptocracy, threatening its neighbours, economically — and it would seem militarily if its corrupt leadership can’t assert control and dominance over its neighbours. America today, more closely represents fascism in the 1930’s than it does democracy in 1945.
Therefore, Canada will distance itself from America and will pursue democratic principles that serve the interests of Canadians. Threats by America will result in an entrenched Canadian populace, not to be trifled with. And should America in its total ignorance decide to invade Canada, then terrorism will be America’s future, not for years, but generationally.
Remember. It only required 12 terrorists to bring down the twin towers. Canada represents 41.5 million of them if America invades.
We are well educated, resourceful, competent and determined. Thanks to Trump, we are also becoming enemies that see America through jaundiced eyes.
We don’t like what we see, and we want no part of you…ever.
