Pinocchio’s interests are in servicing the interests of plutocrats. Americans have not yet seen the full impact of this statement, but once it is obvious, Magans will be apoplectic.
They actually believed that trump was in their corner. As it turns out, there is no corner for those who bought into Pinocchio’s asserted beliefs. He has only one belief, and that is in enriching himself and those like him.
While American growth has been exceptional, trump is about to bring that to a screeching halt. Tariffs will create an environment where countervailing duties to America and the reality of significant price increases for the commodities that Americans consume, will mean that anger against Pinocchio will become the norm.
Americans are, by nature, greedy. American culture has been built on consumption. However, when deficit spending and consumer dissatisfaction again rises appreciably, Americans will turn on Pinocchio and his sidekick, Jiminy Cricket. But it is notable that Pinocchio’s sidekick, is an insect of uncommon arrogance and guile, willing to ruthlessly attack anyone in order to achieve his aims, — that being the seizure of the public purse of America.
If you can remember back to 2014 on the first iteration of Pinocchio, he suggested that America would ‘become great’ again, seeing growth, stability and international recognition. Well, actually, that was Joe Biden’s legacy. Pinocchio on the other hand, has in just one short month, sold out its allies, threatened its neighbours, sworn to leave NATO and to steal the assets of Ukraine, if only they can be convinced to do so.
All the while, Pinocchio’s nose has been growing exponentially. So much so that it now extends into the cockpit of Airforce 1. But oh, just wait America. The best is yet to come. Pinocchio is going to destroy government, career bureaucrats and whole departments, including Education, Health, the NIH, Department of the Interior, the FBI and the EPA or Environmental Protection Agency.
America’s debt will explode, as those who watch the purse strings for America are furloughed, or fired. When combined with tax cuts for the 1% it is likely that America will reach heights in relation to debt that should signal the public to panic. Soon, America will spend more on servicing the national debt, than it will on Defence.
Jiminy Cricket is not worried. He can hide away one of his starships to Mars and live out his life in blissful isolation. As for the rest of you. Hate, retribution, race wars, misogyny and the attack on women’s rights and the social life net for the aged and poor will mean an existence that Hobbes would have described as ‘ugly, brutish and short’.
Congratulations America. So much winning, you won’t be able to stand it.
And eventually, Americans will rise up and tear off Pinocchio’s nose.
