I could have never imagined how low America was willing to go. Today, America is run by the most vile people. They believe in extortion, thievery, lies, hate, abuse and terrorism. How did America become such an ugly place? What kind of sickness leads to the level of perversity that is now on display?
And through all of this, the abuse of Ukraine, the extortion, the willingness to take advantage of their misery, you have the nerve to call the man defending democracy, a dictator, — while the actual dictator attempts to bargain away their freedom?
I could never have dreamed up the depth of depravity that America now exhibits.
We in Canada, know fascism. My father, my uncles, all fought to defeat it, yet now we are watching fascists in action a mere 60 miles from my front door.
America truly makes me sick, but more aptly, it enrages me.
America has become a pariah to me. I have nothing to do with it, and as people, we have absolutely nothing in common.
I don’t want to see you, hear you, or have to think about you.
Stay the fuck away from my country. We have never, and I mean the vast majority of Canadians, have never felt the level of animosity we now feel for America and Americans today, Not with the Russians or the Chinese. They were competitors, ideologically different.
But America? It feels so much more like a betrayal of everything that we as Canadians stand for. We believe in doing the right thing, in opposing tyrants, liars, abusers, criminals, and sociopaths, yet here we are living next to them.
Don’t come to Canada. We don’t want you, — we don’t like you or respect you.
At least with Putin, we always knew where we stood.
I suppose that’s the case for America now as well.
You are not like us, and will never be.
