Political Satire

This year the Canadian Snowbird, now an endangered species has been nearly absent from the climes of Florida and Texas, due to a simple, yes very simple, — (did I say simple?) apex predator, often only sighted on golf courses and huddled on a nest underneath Golden Arches along various interstate highways.

A highly protected species in the United States, the indigenous “Booby Headed Dumb Tit”, will be surrounded by armed ornithologists, wearing suits. The dead giveaway is the cavalcade of armoured vehicles within which the “Booby Headed Dumb Hit” resides when not openly seen devouring Big Macs, coke and oodles of fries into his golden fringed maw.

Seeing as the Canadian Snowbird is essentially a defenceless and flightless bird, Air Canada, often feels sorry for them as they attempt to scratch out an existence from the snow of Quebec, most notably. Mercifully, winter ticket sales attract the usually pale and desperate looking Quebecois variant of the snowbird and whisk them to Fort Lauderdale and Miami, where they can be found beached on its shark infested shores.

For more information, contact the Canadian Government or the Florida State Invasive Species eradication department. Remember though, — you will only get to see the Canadian Snowbird erratically in the future, due to the “Booby Headed Dumb Tit”deportation program, coming soon to a beach near you.

(Sponsored by the former Canadian Tourist Board for America, which has been renamed the “Gulf of Former Canadian Tourists, now in Mexico).

Be aware that the State of Florida is planning to Bulldoge the nests of the invasive species, and should it fail, seek to add a tariff both to its migratory arrival and departure.
