In America, Education isn’t Necessary, Right?

It’s probably obvious at this point in the trump administrations journey of complete incompetence, that education isn’t a mainstay of those in office within the administration. Loyalty is the singular most important attribute that any would be sycophant could possess.

So, to ensure that the future contains only those capable of jumping when asked, Trump and his mentally challenged boy, Elon, have decided that dismantling the Department of Education is an investment in the future of America.

“As of 2022, the U.S. was below average in math but above average in science compared with other member countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), a group of mostly highly developed, democratic nations: U.S. students ranked 28th out of 37 OECD member countries in math.”

How do Americans think U.S. STEM education compares with other wealthy countries?

A horizontal stacked bar chart showing that about two-thirds of Americans see K-12 STEM education in the U.S. as average or below average.

That might well explain why this administration is on target to destroy the stock market and the share value of America’s major corporations, while simultaneously firing anyone who seems to be competent in their job.

So what is the rationale for acting in such an asinine fashion?

Alex Hinton, an anthropologist from Rutgers University states the following;

First, he believes that Republicans believe that “liberals are ruining public education by instituting what he calls, a “radical woke agenda” that prioritizes identity politics and politically correct groupthink at the expense of free speech.”

Secondly, he believes that the “radical left” wokeness is part of liberals long-standing attempt to “brainwash” others with their Marxist views that embrace communism.

Thirdly, ‘woke’ federal public education policy infringes on people’s basic freedoms and rights. The right to a homeschool or religious education.

Really?

You’re already 28th in math. I suppose your religious education will at least inform you as to how to count to ten, in order to know what commandment you are in the process of breaking?

Marxist views that embrace communism? Why is that your kleptocratic President is the one then that embraces his ‘communist’ friends? And, comically, it is almost always Republicans who have absolutely no understanding of the terminologies that they throw around. I will bet that 90% of Republican voters can’t even define Marxism, vs, Socialism.

As for home schooling. Fantastic. The religious, and academically challenged want to be the ones to educate the next generation? In what? How to avoid math, science and facts?

Insidehighered.com, had the following to say in relation to gutting the Department of Education.

“No one likes bureaucracy, and everyone’s in favor of more efficiency, so let’s find ways to accomplish that. But don’t use a ‘war on woke’ to attack the children living in poverty and the children with disabilities, in order to pay for vouchers and tax cuts for billionaires.”

So, here again is the actual rationale. Seeing as most educated Americans vote for the Democratic Party, let’s dismantle the ability for those who are already disadvantaged, especially the one’s we might want to deport if given the chance, to an education. It is more important to Republicans to enable religion and home schooling by either the uneducated or the supporters of a fictional being, to educate their children, irrespective if they remain functionally illiterate, mathematically challenged or scientifically ignorant.

Thank you Republicans for stepping up.

The future of American youth is destined to be ignorance and a belief in a superordinate being that no one has seen or heard.

And, well, it will be so much easier to give the uneducated a future in a Republican Army. Why not? You already fired those responsible for securing the nuclear arsenal. I mean, what damage could the uneducated, the simple minded and the religiously hopeful for the rapture, do to the future of mankind?

The future of America is bright indeed.

One might say a vision of ‘fission’, bright.

Praise Be…
