The Dow is set to drop another 1500 points today. “Rube”, Rubio, this morning had some scintillating and titillating observations.
First, “Yes, the markets are crashing over Trump’s new tariffs, but, he says, “They will adjust.”
Yes Rube, and they are….that’s why they’re crashing you dullard.
Rubio, oh master of the great verbal diarrhea then said, “So, I don’t think it’s fair to say economies are crashing. Markets are crashing because…modes of production are bad for the United States.”
And that’s why, when Trump became President you decided to torpedo the international trade system and turn it into a zero sum game of chicken?
RRiigggt. It’s all Obama’s fault or Bidens, right?
“President Joe Biden will leave the White House with a strong economy, historic gains in the job market, a foundation for future manufacturing growth, and having brought down decades-high inflation without triggering a recession.”
This was the statement made on January 20th, 2025.
Doesn’t seem to jive with what’s happening this morning does it Mr. Rube?
No it doesn’t, but Geez, that’s illuminating Rube. Trump and America, starts a stupid trade war and then places ludicrous tariffs on everyone and everything, which causes the nations targeted to respond, and the stock market crashes, –and it’s not your fault?
I love the logic. It’s the fault of all those countries that signed WTO and ITO agreements with the United States in good faith, and for which your fearless Supreme Being said. “The Greatest Free Trade Agreement, Ever.”
And then he tore them up.
Right? Not his fault that he tore them up, eh?
What a jackass, what a fool, and Americans are the rubes.
But America’s asinine zero sum trade system, otherwise known as “death to everyone else, including trade around the world”, except us of course, hasn’t panned out the way you hoped?
The comments by Rube Rubio are so irrational and stupid, he just had to continue, doubling down on idiocy by saying,
“We have to reset the global order of trade…The worst thing is to leave it the way it is forever. I mean, this just can’t continue. We can’t continue to be a country that doesn’t make anything.”
Oh, for fuck’s sake Rube! Then make something!
The market determines if what you make has value, if it’s fairly priced, has quality and represents value for money.
So, if you can’t do that, THEN DON’T MAKE ANYTHING!!!
You know, if I didn’t hear these irrational and ignorant statements day after day, I’d find it hard to believe. But the naive, irrational and just plain stupid decisions by this administration never end.
The big ‘R’ is definitely in the cards for America, and it is all due to just one stupid man and his band of fools.
