Trump’s self-determined “instinctual” ability to decide who gets a ‘deal’ and who doesn’t will undoubtedly be based on Trump’s well-honed extortionist leanings.
His incredible ability to coerce other nations is based on his ability to abuse and deny those countries any economic opportunity.
The “Thief in Chief” will have finally found his place.
A kleptocracy that can enable trump to line his pockets beyond his wildest dreams, and all of it behind closed doors.
Oh, I’m sure there will be some actual diplomacy, but it won’t be much. It will simply be, “these are my terms, take it or leave it, but if you don’t, the door stay closed until it hurts so bad you’ll come back on your knees”.
Quite the statesmanship America.
And his ‘doge bird’, Elon, is also applying his own terms, such as telling Vietnam they need to purchase his Starlink System along with expediting a real estate project for Trump.
Special deals, carve-outs, subsidies and simply overt manipulations to enrich Trump and his cronies is what can be expected for the next four years.
And then, after deliberately attempting to extort other nations, who said “no”, and facing a devastating sale of American Bonds, he has the temerity to lie and state he changed course and dropped some tariffs due to others not having the ‘guts’ to continue.
Have you ever heard such tripe? His bold face lies never cease to amaze me.
America you are destined to become Donald ‘Capone’ Trump’s bitch.
When you tank the economy and every indices that exists to determine how an economy is functioning to the point that the three worst situations in the last thirty years are exceeded by the results of your actions…you made a historically stupid move.
But Trump doesn’t care about Main Street, he doesn’t care about the middle class, and he certainly doesn’t care about immigrants and the poor.
Trump cares about one thing, and one thing only.
“How much can I profit from this transaction?”
That is trump in a nutshell, and the nuttiness will continue for the next four years.
However, while Americans reel over unemployment, losses in their 401K, their investments and savings, to the tune of trillions of U.S. dollars, his friends in the kleptocracy have made billions upon billions.
America is run by a Thief in Chief and his sycophant loyalist MAGANs who are too stupid to realize that when this ends, they too will burn like the coal and fossil fuels they promote.
Trump’s attempts at extortion will change America’s future for the long-distant future.
Nations, like Canada, Mexico, all of those countries in the E.U., as well as the U.K. are creating new organizations exempt of the U.S. in order to bridge trade and commerce. But it doesn’t stop there, — the ramifications for global security and American influence are almost beyond measure. So much so, that the U.S. Dollar may fail to remain as the world’s reserve currency.
The impact of that alone, will be devastating in the U.S., not to mention how trust in America has been obliterated.
The world has now become the “show me” state.
No nation can afford to make the mistake of taking America at its word.
Proof is required, — and so far?
Proof IS that Trump cannot be trusted, and in-turn, America and American corporations.
Eighty percent of Americans work in services. Eight percent work in manufacturing.
And only four percent of the eight percent, are truly involved in direct manufacturing.
So it begs the question, why is America so hell-bent on bringing back manufacturing to the United States?
Most of the importance in that answer resided in the mentality of the ‘boomer’ generation that saw manufacturing as the most important measure of wealth and stability in the United States, post WWII.
But that economy no longer exists.
The costs of doing so are momentous.
First, of what value is it to compete producing products where the world’s cheapest labour will be your competition?
Does anyone believe that Americans want to work for minimum wage?
And who, if any, are going to actually do the work in the factories, that one can only ‘assume’ will be built? Capital costs alone would be prohibitive, not to mention that trump will have deported the entire possible labour force.
Then there is the newly added cost of labour and the value of the U.S. dollar.
Do Americans really support buying products that will, at best, be twice as expensive for quality that is either the same or worse?
I’m Sorry…But It’s Sheer Lunacy…All of It.
So America, what do you think?
So far, Americans continue to support a lunatic in the White House, with only 1% being anywhere near vocal.
At what point will you stand up and be counted?
Removing your labour and going on a national strike would be highly effective, because it needs to be.
Remember: The only way to create change in a kleptocracy is to take away the object of the kleptocracy.
Profit.
If no money is being made, the cronies of the Thief in Chief will apply pressure for change.
It has to affect all of their interests, irrespective of how they make their money.
The only way to do that, is to strike.
No labour, no products, no sales, no products.
The system will collapse under its own weight.
So America, it’s up to you.
If not…lose your job, your savings, your home, your future.
Meanwhile, trump will enrich himself and his friends forever.
You’ve been warned.
