America is so blatant about its support for Putin, that America doesn’t even attempt to represent Ukraine’s interests.
Idiot Trump, contrary to all the facts, common sense and actual human decency, blames Ukraine for being invaded by Russia.
What a totally ignorant, arrogant and stupid man Trump is. His relationship with Putin borders on sycophantism, it is so obviously irrational and one sided.
Trump doesn”t have a clue about geopolitics, Russia itself or Ukraines history and its relationship with Russia.
Zelensky, incredibly polite in his response to Trump’s delusional comments, stated that he respects America, but that Trump is wrong because he is living in a delusional state, which of course, he is.
Putin has Trump to make his talking points for him. Trump and Putin sound like they are friends and allies, disregarding the facts entirely.
Trump is a plutocrat and kleptocrat, which America is quickly realising is the case. His less-than-astute handling of virtually everything from economics, trade to international agreements, relationships and trade, illustrates the superficial and entirely childish viewpoints that Trump espouses.
Russia invaded Ukraine in Crimea on February 20th, 2014 and the entire world knows that, except apparently the President of the United States, which is not surprising considering that he still contests that he won the election in 2020, which of course is an absurdity except to Trump and his syscophants.
Trump has done everything possible to provide Russia with a paved road to the takeover of Ukraine. It is so patently obvious it is sickening.
To the shame of the west, almost nothing was done materially to support Ukraine on the day they invaded Ukraine in the east, three years ago. Yes, sanctions were applied, and yes, America and the west sent significant amounts of materiale to support Ukraine.
But it was not enough then, and it is not enough, now.
Ukrainians are doing the dying and being maimed every single day. Meanwhile even though North Korea, China and Iran support Russia, the west has still not sent one combatant into harms way.
It is, without doubt, unconscionable. For America, it illustrates America’s weakness in the fact of adversity. If America will roll over this easy in relation to Europe, what does it say about China’s future attack on Taiwan?
Were I Taiwanese, it would send a clarion call that “America cannot be trusted”.
But we all know that now. Every nation on earth, knows that now.
America, as pompous as ever, has only supplied aboutr 30% of the funds that have sustained Ukraine throughout the war, and while it is appreciated, in relation to maintaining democracy around the world, it is a travesty.
But the ultimate betrayal is in the making. America wants reparations from Ukraine in the form of its mineral weatlh. The world has another name for this form of ‘help’.
Extortion.
It’s time for the west sans the United States, to tell America to “go home”. Your ‘help’ is not needed. The true democracies of the world will deal with Putin, unless of course America actually supports Putin in his military incursions into Europe.
Ridiculous?
Hardly.
America is acting like a comrade to Russia, not the leader of the free world.
America no longer has any moral authority amongst its former ‘allies’.
We ‘thought’ we were allies, until we were told that we would be annexed if America was given the opportunity.
It’s time for a new resolve by the E.U. and its partners to ‘step up’, ignore America and to actively, militarily confront Russia.
Putin, like Trump, is a coward. He will only take what he can without losing face or worse, control and power.
Like Trump, control and power are all that matter. to him.
The world needs to stand up to both Putin and Trump.
Both are dictators and kleptocrats who will steal whatever they can.
As for Canada?
We will never bend to America. We will seek alternatives to the 75% trade that did flow to America.
We will not sell our oil, gas, minerals, commodities and/or water to America, except at a ‘fair price’, however, that doesn’t include knuckling under to a fascist sociopath like Trump.
Americans chose this path.
When this is over, Canada will no longer be in America’s sphere of influence.
We will have developed all the necessary trade and industrial might to secure Canada, for Canadians, for generations to come.
WE don’t trust America, and as of now, we are no longer ‘friends’.
America will have succeeded in being ‘alone’ and without allies.
So be it.
That was your choice America.
