Building Canada is, in many respects like building any organization. It requires proficiency, intellect, business acumen and a singular focus on results driven by men and women of passion for the task at hand.
I truly believe, Mark Carney represents those embodiments. His talents and acumen are well known, and his discipline and forces supersedes partisan politics and backroom infighting, particularly by those whose only interest is in seeing the Prime Minister fail.
Canada cannot afford failure, so it is timely that we finally have a Prime Minister whose abilities match his goals, and not a man whose intelligence has been in question since his arrival on the political scene.
If Canada is to thrive in the future it requires ‘less politics’, less bureaucracy and more capacity, industry and financial might. Unlike past failed administrations, this one has the opportunity to set Canada and its future on a new course. One driven by the building of partners in relationships that are based on trust, truth and responsibility.
Canada must improve productivity. It must improve job creation, and it must improve the application of science and technology to long known problems associated with divisiveness in Canada, that does not serve Canadian interests.
Those in favour of secession and in leaving Canada, should be welcomed to do so. They undoubtedly do not have Canada’s interest at heart.
Whether those in the western separatist movement or the east, — feel free to take their self-interest in hand and leave Canada. Democracy will rule and it is already self-evident that those who wish to secede do not have the necessary support to make it so.
If their intent is simply to encumber Canada in such a way as to make Canada’s future less bright, less secure, then, they should be welcomed by their patrons to the south or elsewhere to seek their futures there.
Canada will diversify and Canada will flourish, outside America’s sphere of influence. Canada has a highly educated, scientific community, the resources and the markets to drastically improve Canada’s achievement of goals in the future.
Unencumbered by America, and its wishes to extort Canada, Canadians will develop, as they are in the process of doing, new markets, new partners, new resources and new capacity to create a powerhouse in the future.
Canada’s wish to seek alignment, economically, militarily and politically with democracies in Europe, Japan, Korea and the U.K., will be Canada’s focus, as will support for Ukraine and Canada’s involvement in NATO and Europe’s military force structure.
Twice the market size of America, the E.U., will be a strategic partner going forward, just as our new and growing relationships with Japan, Korea and China will become key Canadian export recipients.
Canada, itself, is not for sale.
Particularly to a criminal kleptocracy where the rule of law no longer even applies.
The future for Canada is bright, and our resolve is total.
Canada strong.
