The world has known since Trump was elected that the rule of law means nothing to this administration and the people that serve it. The willingness to lie pathologically as the government to the people of the United States of America, is not just unconscionable, it is illegal.
It is one thing to continuously lie about circumstances and events that affect the lives of Americans, but it wholly illegal to extrajudicially murder people, simply because you can.
What is the difference between what Nazis did in the Second World War and what Hegseth just did with the killing of men? Does it make it okay that it was only two men? Is there any proof whatsoever that the men in that boat were not simply going about their daily business and fishermen or merchants?
“crimes against peace, war crimes, and crimes against humanity“. They were also found guilty of conspiracy to commit these crimes, which included planning and waging aggressive war, atrocities like mass murder and slave labor, and participation in organizations like the SS.
What does this then say about the actions of America today?
Is it simply, “We’re not murdering as many people.”
Is that the actual rational response from the United States?
It’s not like Hegseth is a moral or ethical human being. He has been associated with allegations of raping women, lying pathologically and now, murder. He actually settled with an accuser, rather than face the publicity and the inquiry into his actions. Are these the acts of a leader? Are these the acts of a man responsible for the defence of the United States of America?
So far, the United States has murdered over 80 people, simply because the President of the United States wants to steal the resources of Venezuela in order to enrich himself and those crony capitalist kleptocrats and plutocrats that sponsor him.
Where are the Americans who support the rule of law, international rule of law, empathy, truth and honesty? Trump makes Americans complicit in his illegal acts and absolutely NOTHING is being done to bring this man and his accomplices to justice.
In fact, the Supreme Court is complicit. They acquiesce and interpret the law based on the wishes of convicted felon.
Shame on America.
If you kill any more Venezuelans by lying about the rationale for invasion you are all complicit in murder.
And murder is exactly what it is.
You, America, are deliberately, maliciously and willfully killing the people’s of another country because you want to steal their resources. Nothing else.
It is the reason why all of the people of western nations eschew America, will not travel to America and who are beginning to despise America.
America is a fascist state, without any rule of law, any democracy or any conscience.
