The NATO Alliance Is Formally Dead As Of Now

America Is The Enemy of Democracy

The United States is now on its own.

And while I’m sure that to Trump, this is an irrelevancy, losing access to its 750 military bases around the world, — for a starter, will not be.

America’s retrenchment inside the western hemisphere will mean that it is no longer a superpower as China and the EU will fill the vacuum.

Nations that were uncommitted in relation to both trade and defence arrangements with the U.S., will void them and align with China. China, and BRICS, as well as military solidarity with China may well occur due to America now being a Pirate Nation.

Korea and Vietnam are already seeking a rapprochement with China.

Losing Korea would be a formidable blow to the U.S.

NATO should admit Ukraine and Canada to the EU and to a new protective umbrella for former NATO states and provide itself with a new name. I vote for Democratic Union Treaty Organization.

Member states should sent a full European Army to Ukraine and embargo Russian oil around the world. It should institute a ‘Red line’ and demilitarized zone in Ukraine, which if Russia attacks, will result in a devastating attack on Russia itself by DUTO.

There is no sense in waiting as Russia rebuilds its losses in Ukraine and sets its sights on Europe.

And the new organization that replaces NATO, should demand that the U.S. remove its bases from Europe and any other member states. And DUTO would differ from NATO automatically in that the U.S. would never be allowed entry.

Made up of global democracies, it’s time to stand against the concept of 18th Century hegemony and the idea that military might makes right, particularly when that country is neither a democracy nor abides by the rule of law.

My hope for America is that China seizes Taiwan and then threatens the annexation of American territories in the Pacific, like Okinawa and Guam, as China ‘must have them for strategic reasons.’

Russia will take the opportunity to attack Europe itself, either by attempting to seize the rest of Ukraine, or the opening of a new front with an attack on the Baltic States.

Canada should immediately, right now, quickly militarize and build its supplemental reserve, regular reserve and the Canadian Armed Forces.

Like 1939, it should happen immediately.

Canada should purchase 300,000 assault rifles and begin to stockpile ammunition, munitions, missiles and offensive weapons.

It should train all members of the armed forces, including the supplemental reserve in covert operations, asymmetrical warfare and terrorism methodologies.

It should enact conscription of all nineteen year old men to a 16 month commitment. Training and deployment would follow. Combined, the CAF would be able to field a force of 486,000 trained and equipped personnel.

The Canadian economy and its industries should immediately be placed on a war footing.

And while such action may actually cost more than $150 billion dollars annually, sovereignty has a price, and it’s much higher than that.

Canada should harden the border and break off all trade with the United States.

Trump has repeatedly stated he needs nothing from Canada. Give him what he wants. Nothing.

No oil, no aluminum, no fertilizer, no energy or hydropower of any kind.

Break economic ties with the United States and trade only with member states of the Democratic Union Treaty Organization.

Economically, the EU, Canada and all member states should drop the U.S. dollar and sell-off all U.S. treasuries at once. The EU and BRICS should then drop the use of the American dollar as the world’s reserve currency and only trade using the currencies of those member states in DUTO.

Embargo travel to the United States.

In effect, Canada is now at war with America, economically.
