And, If You’re Not Defending Him, what are you actually doing that will make a difference?
Are Americans in a state of denial, or are they just being ostriches, hoping that someone else will just make Trump have a vapour lock and everything is suddenly supposed to get better?
I’m Canadian, and for the life of me, I cannot understand Americans.
Trump is actively working to destroy democracy in America, and the vast majority of Americans are doing absolutely nothing effective. Standing on the street with a sign and then going home satisfied that, “I’m sure he heard us”, has absolutely no effect on a fascist dictator.
What will, is a general strike.
Until Americans make the cost of ignoring the public burn through the financial interests of the kleptocrats and plutocrats that make up the entire lot of this administration, nothing will change.
Meanwhile, Trump is hoping beyond hope, that someone shoots or kills an ICE agent or one of its other Gestapo members in order to move to martial law, which is the plan.
He already ignores the rule of law and the Supreme Court is in his pocket like so many chess pieces.
The Attorney General is a dyed in the wool fascist, and the Justice Department and the FBI act like they are arms of the White House staff.
If people refuse to do the one thing they actually control, their labour, there’ll be the sound of jackboots soon in every American city.
A National Strike is the only tool left to Americans, so why won’t you employ it?
You have very limited time to do so.
Soon there will be someone, either so mentally ill or so angry that he’ll walk into a scene where the Gestapo are detaining, handcuffing and beating Americans for no reason, and he will kill one or more of the enemy, which is what ICE and its subordinate force members are.
And once that happens America, you have given the otherwise feckless, ignorant and evil fascist in charge, all that he wants, so he can impose martial law.
Congress, is useless. Period.
They refuse to actually force Adolf to stop, and Americans are standing by while every tool, every check and balance is being dismantled.
Canada and the E.U. Will Soon Ask America and U.S. Military to Leave
Canada has been threatened, extorted and now America is attempting to destroy Canada’s economy. If Adolf actually does” impose a 100% tariff on Canadian goods, which fall under the CUSMA Trade Agreement, then Canada will have few options, other than what one could call, nuclear responses.
Shutting off electricity to Maine, Vermont, Minnesota, California, New York, Washington and Michigan will cause immediate blackouts on the Eastern seaboard and cause systems to crash, which could take down the whole grid as it cascades, and America simply has no other generation that it can bring on line.
The second nuclear response will be to shut off oil delivery to the U.S.
The United States consumes over 20 million barrels of oil a day, and only produces 12 million barrels approximately. So losing four million barrels overnight will cause oil prices to go up faster than a F35 fighter. And, once again, America can’t provide additional gas unless Adolf steals heavy crude from Venezuela, which was his intention in the beginning, but he is stealing those oil proceeds by putting them in a bank in Qater that only he can access. His thievery is likely to cause another war for America.
You can imagine the cascading issues from just these two issues.
Anyone remember 1973? I sure as hell do. Inflation went through the roof, and interest rates were as high as 23%.
Third, Canada will shut off aluminum to the U.S. which again, you don’t produce much of, so that will mean that in approximately two weeks every car plant in the U.S. will close.
That’s simply the first of three nuclear options, but all of these options are like a ballistic missile that has multiple independent reentry vehicles headed for the U.S. economically, if Adolf acts to damage Canada.
The biggest and most damaging of all will occur whereby Europe, Canada, China and Japan dump all 8.8 trillion of US treasury bonds and instruments. Wall Street will crash and what will follow will be an instant depression, no different than 1929.
So much for hegemony.
So the answer to this problem resides in the hands of Americans.
Either do something meaningful that hurts the plutocrats who run Adolf and America, or get ready to lose your livelihood,
Virtually everything is connected today.
These actions will cause immense and possibly unrecoverable economic issues, so great that the 2008 recession will look like a party.
It’s up to you America.
