America, once upon a time had ‘soft power’, defined as the ability to influence through attraction and persuasion rather than coercion by force. It included America’s political values and foreign policies that illustrated what America stood for.
Many of us who lived outside of the United States had great respect for its altruism, its empathy, its scientific abilities, its seeking to further and improve advanced education and the betterment of humanity.
But all that has changed.
Today, we can all see what America stands for, and it sure as hell isn’t anything to do with the former including soft power.
It’s patently obvious and apparent that the U.S. is only interested in military intervention, economic sanctions and direct threats against the world as a whole.
The U.S. has one rule, one ethos, one mantra:
“Might is right”.
To ensure the world got that message, the King of Hubris decided to illustrate how America could ‘kick ass and take names’ around the globe, attacking seven countries in 11 months during 2025.
So much death to disseminate, so little time.
But that wasn’t enough. There are much more efficient and infinitely cheaper ways to murder people.
Especially if they are poor, not Christian and live in a place that the President of the United States of America calls; ‘those shit holes’.
An accident of birth, and oh how I wish that the man who said that had been born in Somalia or North Korea.
But it wasn’t enough to simply denigrate the ‘others’, no. It was time to prove that America through its hate, greed and power can do some real harm if it wants to.
To prove this, last year, the President of the United States appointed the richest man in the world to ‘take away as much as possible from the poorest people in the world.’
Congratulations America. Another feather in your cap in relation to illustrating inhumanity and complete greed as a nation.
And what this act created is a situation where the cuts that the United States made, by DOGE and Elon Musk, to USAID has cost the lives of 800,000 of the world’s poorest people.
800,000 human beings America.
America doesn’t need to send its armed forces around the world to murder innocent people, it can simply starve them or not provide the drugs, vaccines and nutritional supplements that America had done since 1961, when it was principled, when it had empathy.
And why did it stop?
Because it wanted, government efficiency.
If you believe that one America, then you’re probably white, a racist, and living in a trailer court in Arkansas.
Are you fucking kidding me America?
America is spending 1.05 TRILLION fucking dollars on weapons and warfare in 2026.
America’s Priorities
According to the Guardian of today, March 10th, 2026, in an article entitled “John Oliver on Trump’s dismantling of USAID: What this administration has done is beyond “cruel” and has led to a situation where “those cuts have had real impacts on people around the world engaged in the act of saving other people’s lives… which has now led to hundreds of thousands of deaths in 2025 alone”.
The agency was created in 1961 by John F. Kennedy for both humanitarian and altruistic reasons was designed to increase American soft power abroad by helping those with the least in this world towards a better, safer life.
However, today it has been dismantled even though upon being subsequently audited it was found that 94% of the spending was found to have ‘no waste’ and only 0.3% was found to have any issues.
One right-wing activist acted out of sheer unbridled hate. It was found that this cretin had the ear of Elon Musk and due to his criticism of the agency his lies were retweeted over 160 times by Elon Musk. His name is Mike Benz, and because of his actions to poison USAID in the eyes of Musk, it has led to an estimated 282,000 adults dying and 518,000 children dying in 2025 alone, directly due to the cuts he had Elon Musk make at USAID.
It is sickening, unconscionable and appalling.
It was murder, pure and simple.
Cuts were made to the following programs, and this is but a few.
- Nutritional assistance
- Climate resiliency
- Cholera prevention
- Children’s access to safe schools
- HIV treatment
Soft power wasn’t simply about showing America’s ‘nice’ side or scoring political points. It made a difference in whether people lived or died.
In turn, Americans saved .53 cents a day per capita, while killing 2,191 of the poorest people on earth, every single day.
Let that sink in America. That was your legacy for 2025.

In the last eleven days the U.S. has spent an estimated $1 billion dollars per day, in order to kill an additional 4,300 Iranians according to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.
And why?
America chose to kill them in order to submit to the wishes of Bibi Netanyahu, himself a convicted genocidal mass murderer according to the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
Amazing America. The pride you must feel eh?
You listen to men who ‘lead’ you, by the nose apparently. Men and women known for their inability to tell the truth, to have any honour, any ethics or any morals.
So called men of faith? Who call upon American servicemen and women to risk their lives for a superordinate being that doesn’t even exist?
Is America that stupid? Is America that ignorant and immoral that it will kill, not in defence, but for a fundamentalist Evangelical Christian Sect in America, so that it can steal oil and rule a nation of people that it has openly shown it hates?
American xenophobia, hate, greed and lies have now replaced the rule of law, human rights, ethics, empathy and truth.
Soft power?
Completely fucking limp and powerless is more like it.
That is America, and Americans should be ashamed.
America: Go Back To Killing Your Own People
America’s self-loathing has created a situation where Republicans are willing to kill their fellow-citizens by removing their health care, by denying women reproductive health and by denying vaccines.
The world has seen ‘American Values’, and we don’t want any part of them.
Anti-scientific, anti-intelligence, anti-intellectual, and just plain fucking stupidity, is how America has doubled down on abusing its own people. America’s xenophobia, hate, racism and Islamophobia will haunt America for generations.
Please do seek isolationism.
Please do seek protectionism.
Don’t trade with anyone. In fact consume yourselves, because America is not a democracy. It is not humane, honest, kind or even rational.
We, the world writ-large, just want America to stay the hell away from us. You are like a giant parasite, and we do not trust you.
