Political Editorial Opinion
Donald Trump’s hubris may finally have met its match. So far, Trump hasn’t damaged his base to any great extent, but that is about to change.
Of course, it won’t be restricted to his minions.
Trump’s foray into strategic lunacy in Iran may well mean that this time, he won’t be able to extricate himself, irrespective of how many lies, or how much blame he registers or lays on other people.
Iran is about to live in a Hertz commercial.
“America, — you rented, this car. Now live the memories”.
Trump’s willingness to live in his own mind, no matter what the facts are, is about to cause his minions, ever the dullards, so much pain that they can no longer pretend that their King of Pretence is actually ‘on their side’.
Simple people may well be led easily, but once they are convinced that they are the target of Trump’s arrogant mindlessness, it will no longer matter if Trump had intent or they were simply ‘collateral damage’.
As the costs of Trump’s forays into this fiscal fiasco of ignorance only gets worse, Americans, especially those who are neither rich nor intelligent will want to excise a pound of flesh for their economic woes, and no amount of smoke, mirrors or lipstick will be able to hide the Pig that Trump has delivered to America.
Trump’s lies and leverage are beginning to need a much more powerful fulcrum if anyone is going to continue to accept his mountain of lies. He will attempt to blame Israel for ‘his’ actions, and then when the shit really hits the fan and the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, he’ll go after NATO and attempt to offload the responsibility for his ignorance, arrogance and complete strategic ineptness.
Of course, they have absolutely no involvement, so his lashing out at NATO simply smacks of his arrogance and stupidity.
Don’t even be surprised if the wonder-kind fires the God of War for actually “pushing America into the breach of war”.
Trump thinks his ‘two pairs’ are a winning hand. Iran has a strait, (pun intended) that is going to sink the Commodore of Catastrophe, faster than the Iris Dena met her end off Sri Lanka.
Iran only needs to prolong. It may well have lost the air battle, yet it can win the war, as America is a fickle mistress, and its people have a low tolerance for death and dismemberment of their children, if not the ‘others’. Everyone loves a whiz-bang aerial light show as long as those suffering the consequences are some ‘shit birds living in a shit hole’, as the Prince of Perversion has stated so often, somewhere else, somewhere lesser. But once the stench surrounds America’s evermore expensive dinner table, its appetite will likely sour.
Anyone with vision better than what constitutes myopia can see that Trump will shortly attempt to lay blame someone and somewhere else, while striking out at those more intelligent and rational who suggested that this foray into the land of the “vicious group of very hard, terrible people,” as Trump was quoted as saying by NPR on February 28, 2026, degrades further.

Obviously as the War in Iran leads to more questions than answers, more costs than rewards, anger and angst in America will lead the King of Chaos to attack another ‘problem’ that America never actually faced.
As The Economist suggested in its article;
“Operation Blind Fury”, “Mr. Trump is also liable to lash out at home. He has already endorsed the idea of withholding broadcasting licenses from media outlets that criticize the war. He wants the Federal Reserve to slash rates, but his war makes that less likely —- expect further clashes with the central bank. He could target perceived enemies or send immigration agents to more Democratic-run cities. He could threaten to meddle in the midterms, either as theatre to rile his opponents, or because he intends to influence the results. It is hard to see how Mr. Trump ends up a winner in Iran.
Be warned: he makes a very bad loser.”
The Culmination of Stupidity is Yet to Come America
So…here we are. Waiting for a sociopath to decide his next act of vengeance on those he deems worthy. That may well be NATO, it may well be Cuba, or it could well be a democratic state whose Governor or Senate House Leader has criticized the war effort for its lack of, well…everything in relation to planning, logistics or intelligence.
Undoubtedly, some heads will roll, most likely those in the military who have excelled at what they actually do. Trump hates competence and will replace whomever he axes with a totally incompetent and unqualified sycophant, for future service as a victim to his hubris, stupidity and hate-filled retribution.
This IS America today, and I for one am ever so happy that I chose to not be one of the many who will pay a massive price for their silence and subservience to ignorance and vengeful retribution.
