No nation in the western world trusts America any longer.
This week a video (linked above) spoke to a fictional bellweather event, supposedly so profound it would change the way the western world interacts with (or doesn’t) the United States of America. But what is actually transpiring is simply a variation on a theme, suggested by this video, that is in full effect.
The rupture that does exist is going to resonate in international economics and foreign affairs policy for at least a generation.
What follows is pure fiction, yet sometimes fiction mirrors life.
What was this fictional event, and how profound might its change actually be?
The G7 is one of the last institutional bodies that acts to bring the western democracies into alignment. It is actually being destroyed by the United States since January 20th, 2025 to the present.
And it is occurring because of US arrogance and hubris, and one man’s criminal kleptocratic actions against the world’s sovereign nations as an act of extortion that will not go unpunished.
The costs have been real, and the effects, permanent.
Watch the following fictional YouTube video, linked above.
Because what it fictionalizes may well be reality when the G7 meet in France this June, because the ramifications from what the outcome of that weeks meeting may signal, is that the United States, no longer trusted within the G7, will lead effectively to the creation of a new organizational framework, without the United States in the very near future.
This, should it occur, will be a huge deal. It may well signal the end of U.S. dominance economically over the other western powers.
So imagine what such an action will mean, because the wheels of such action are truly already in motion.
The G7 (group of seven) is an informal forum of the world’s leading industrialized democracies — Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States – plus the European Union. It was founded in 1975, and it addresses global issues like economic policy, security, climate change and technology, representing 44% of global GDP.
What Trump’s unilateral attempt to expel Canada, because it doesn’t like being stood up to, and cannot force Canada to succumb to American pressure, avarice and greed, will mean, is that effectively, U.S. influence over the G7, will end.
American unilateral actions that damage international trade, the WTO, climate change, technological challenges and international trade policy, have reached a point (not fictionally) where collectively the G6, without the United States can no longer accept its threats or its overt and obvious attempts at either extortion or economic manipulation.
The Reality: Non-Fiction: No Road Back
What Trump’s foreign policies, his tariffs, his hegemonic and what can only be called fascist goals, kleptocratic and autocratic in nature, mean for the rest of the world’s democracies and emerging democracies is a threat to world peace, world trade and what has been a ‘rules based order’ since essentially the Second World War.
There is no way to ‘unring the bell’ as it was clearly heard, clearly understood and required no interpretation by the United States of America.
Do as I say, and not as I do, is unacceptable to the western powers excluding America. And so it is that today there is now a determination by the world’s democracies to build new organizational frameworks based on the rule of law, international collaboration and joint respect for sovereignty and collaborative thought.
A new Global Trade Organization is being formulated for implementation at the earliest opportunity.
All of this is of course, anathema to the United States of America.
So be it.
This action portends massive changes for the future. The dissolution of NATO (now seemingly inevitable as no NATO member trusts America to adhere to Article 5 of the NATO Charter), at least from American membership in NATO, an organization to replace the WTO that respects the Rule of Law, International Law, the International Criminal Court, respects the sovereignty of nation states, respects free speech, human rights, the global environment and global climate change, as a start.
Once again, the United States respects none of those ideas, ideals or global ambitions.
America is, at this moment, a rogue state. It is finding itself, alone.
And as the world’s democracies unify and build, America will find itself without allies, save one, a genocidal mass-murdering nation whose leader was convicted of genocide by the International Criminal Court, along with another rogue, Imperialist Criminal autocracy, Russia.
