When Death Goes on Vacation, I Imagine It’s Tough to Relax

I mean with a government in power that thrives on conquest, war, famine and death, the possibilities should really be endless.

One would think they might be able to quantify it into some semblance of a ‘plan’, one that would provide some detail as to the objectives?

And then, eureka, I realized that the current administration did indeed have a plan. They had thought of everything. They provided us with sufficient detail to make death the centre of attention going forward.

Congratulations, I really wasn’t sure you had it in you as the Grand Old Party, but I should never have doubted your ‘talent’.

It actually, makes me wax poetic.

When Death Goes on Vacation

When death goes on vacation

Does it really matter where?

Does he state his real vocation?

Is he careful when he’s there?

Cause let’s face it, it’s a downer

You can’t die when you are death

Do you still seek out an ‘owner’

Or just give away free meth?

And what if people ask you

Where you work, and what you do

Do you show them an example?

Or provide an interview?

In the moment is that awkward?

Do you feel any remorse?

Or do you just point skyward,

Leering smile and end their course.

It must be hard relaxing

Someone always interferes

They don’t realize how taxing

It can be without your peers

But it’s even worse together

On a cruise, too obvious

Pestilence, might be clever

No more famine, not for us

A little Hanta virus

Some Ebola would be nice

But no one ever hires us

Entertainment? Hardly, twice

Should you find a President

With no honour and no soul

You can take up residence

And forever love the toll

We know that there are places

My vocation is at ease

No matter what the races

They all face the same disease

So, in the Oval Office

I have taken human form

I’m hardly there the novice

Stephen Miller did inform

Project 2025

Took some effort on my part

But we’re keeping it alive

Two more years, it’s just a start

We’ll welcome Armageddon

We’ll be dining out for sure

Evangelics are bettin,

That this year will be the cure

My vacation, almost done

Back to work, but here’s a thought

Find a place to have some fun

So that next year’s, not for nought

On behalf of the GOP, may 2027 be the first of many ‘last’ years to come.
