Danielle Smith is no Canadian patriot. She is a self-interested minion of Donald Trump. Smith has glowing statements for a man who would have sold Canada to Trump for a price, just as Smith will also do.
Carney is the right man, in the right place, at the right time.
Polievre, isn’t even a politician at this point, so as far as real Canadians are concerned, his bona fides sank along with Conservative aspirations.
If Smith wants to respect Canadians and Canadian aspirations, she can cooperate and collaborate with Canada, instead of the United States, capitalists and the fossil fuel lobby.
It wasn’t just time for a change in Ottawa, which gladly we are seeing, but it’s time for a wholesale change in Alberta.
We can’t afford two self-interested secessionists in Canada, one east, one west.
It’s time for Albertans to decide if they want to be swallowed by America, sucked dry and discarded, or join confederation again, and act like a member of that confederation.
Otherwise, Smith?
Resign.
